Photo Challenge: Day 2

When Fiona was about 9 months old my sweet friends sent me a really fun t-shirt for my birthday. It had a bunch of animals riding a roller coaster on it and I loved it. Unfortunately it was too tight and although I tried it on from time to time just to check, it never fitted well. It became my goal shirt. I WOULD fit into it one day, hopefully. Well Happy Day, today I wore that shirt! I'm not the same weight I used to be, and I think it would take a lot of effort to become that weight again, but the shirt fits, and that's enough for me!

So here I present to you Louise's diet plan...

1. Have a baby
2. Have another baby
3. Spend every meal time trying to eat while doing a combination of these things: picking up dropped forks, getting drinks, getting more blueberries, exchanging blueberries for watermelon, trying to spoon foods into the little one, picking up that fork again, mopping up spilled drinks, wiping hands and faces, taking toddlers to the bathroom.
4. Come back from that bathroom trip to find the dog with his head in your plate licking your dinner.
5. Give up.
6. Have a glass of wine instead.

There you have it! It's not healthy and no doctor recommends it but at least wine is good for you... right? Yes! It's full of antioxidants and resveratrol. Thanks science!

Good for you! But I suspect your diet probably hasn't worked for me yet because I forget the wine and substitute chocolate. Note to self: drink more booze.

Louise, somehow this miracle diet has not yet worked for me... hmmm... maybe because I still find time to eat, somehow. In any rate - you look great! CONGRATS!
